Fee and Session Length Information
The fee for a psycHikes individual psychotherapy session is $100 per hour. In fact, the fee for each of the ‘therapy’ services offered through psycHikes is $100 per hour.
Oh, what are those other therapy services? Well, they are marriage/couples therapy and family therapy.
If you live on a fixed income and can present proof of your income, we may be able to negotiate a reduced fee that could fit your budget. Just let me know, and we’ll see what we can come up with.
Since the length of psycHikes sessions is not determined by a payor source, sessions can last for more than one hour. The length of your session will depend, in part, on how you can manage the payment and on your treatment needs. If we take to a trail for your session, you will pay only for the period of time we stop for that session. For instance, if we hike for a total of two hours, stop and spend one and one-half hours for your session, and then spend one more hour hiking, you will pay just for the one and one-half hours devoted to your session.
For instance, if during our preliminary during our preliminary conversation(s) we determine your problems or issues could be resolved by scheduling a session lasting two or maybe three hours, a session of that length could be arranged. In fact, if you live outside the general area of Harrison, Arkansas, and can be in this area for only a weekend and really want to do all the work it would take to achieve your treatment goals during that stay, we could set aside the time for sessions lasting several hours. Extended sessions on consecutive days can even be scheduled. The possibilities are as endless as the trail is long.
